As an educator I use theis book all the time. It's approch towards drawing is excellent to the classroom and for the artist. I tell everyone to make sure they have a copy on the shelf.

  New to drawing

This book was recommended to me by a professional artist. I am just beginning my journey through and delighted to see the exercises which will help me to master the difficult art of drawing.

  Grateful to have known her

Claudia Betti was a one of kind and truly a classy lady. She had a unique understanding of an artist's perspective which she shared with me from time to time. FYI, she passed away recently. Please enjoy her wisdom and her art for many years to come.

The best book on eductional drawing yet written

As a lecturer at a California University, I have yet to come across a book more resourceful than this.
It is the best book on drawing, from an educational standpoint, yet written.
Every college professor in the Arts the world over should have this book in their reference collection.
Its that good.

  Looking at Betti's "Drawing---"

Well written and containing up to date developments in this field. Illustrations are of a good quality. Altogether a valuable text for the teacher as well as the practitioner.
