Managerial Accounting and how to reduce your cost?

To someone who wants to look at a company's financial performance internally, Managerial Accounting book is an excellent fit.

It's all about costs and how to make right decisions accordingly such as how to implement ABC system, should I get out of business, or close a line of product, how to expand producing capacities?... those questions are easily found in this valuable book.

Beside there are several pratical and helpful exercises, problems and case studies at the end of each chapter that shed more light on mentioned theories.

  Very informative Accounting textbook

I really learned a lot from Managerial Accounting. The text is very succinct and helpful, if a little too detailed. There is a wealth of practice problems available, even if you sometimes have to dig through them in order to really get to the helpful review. The book would have benefited from having the answers to the practice problems included, but the review problems at the end of each chapter are super helpful. Finally, the real-life business insights are the best I have ever read in a textbook and really made it enjoyable to read.

  Good textbook..!!

I had to buy this pricey textbook for my Managerial Accounting class. I started working through the chapters and definitely liked this book.
Authors did a good job making the topic easily understandable. I also liked the many real life examples and the friendly voice.

  Impressive

This book is impressive. It has many links to useful information in addition to this book, has an online learning center with the book, has dozens of people from various schools that came together to make it, has colorful graphics and illustrations (that make the concepts easy to understand, has information relevant to current events, and the ability to study the content on your ipod. Way to keep up with the times.

Classic book in Managerial Accounting and must have book

This is one of the recommended textbook for the Managerial Accounting course at GWU. The book is very well written, structured and a must read textbook to understand managerial accounting. I will be keeping this book for the future reference. The author has done a fantastic job in explaining the concepts and by having lot of review problems. The author has also provided a lot of information online

anyone can understand the concepts by just going through the video library. I would rate this book as one of the top 5 books in my MBA program. Many of the negative feedback received on this book is due to exercises being different in the International Edition or for not having received the book while dealing with the third party sellers.
